0:35Start with one cup of whole wheat flour and one cup of rolled oats. Whisk them so the oats are evenly distributed.
1:20Half a cup of peanut butter — and read your label, it must be xylitol-free, xylitol is genuinely toxic to dogs. One egg, then water a splash at a time.
3:05Roll it to about a quarter inch. I like little squares for training rewards — fast, no cutter needed.
4:30Eighteen minutes at 350. They firm up as they cool, so resist the urge to pull them early.

Tips

  • No cookie cutter? A pizza wheel and a ruler make clean training squares.
  • For senior dogs, add 2 tbsp water so the dough bakes softer.
  • Always introduce a new treat in small amounts and check with your vet for allergies.
