0:00Training treats need to be small, soft, and low-calorie. These carrot apple bites check every box.
0:25Grated carrot, finely diced apple — no seeds or core — oat flour, one egg, a touch of cinnamon. Combine into a soft sticky dough.
1:10If the dough is too wet, add oat flour a tablespoon at a time. You want it sticky enough to hold a pea-sized ball.
1:55Drop pea-sized portions onto the sheet. Sixteen minutes at 350. They come out firm and light — perfect pocket-sized reward.

Tips

  • Always remove apple core and seeds — apple seeds contain trace amounts of cyanide.
